Tail Accessibility
The tail dock by Vector Technorium provides custom platforms for accurate access to an aircraft’s tail section including APU section, allowing maintenance teams to efficiently carry out detailed inspections and repairs. These platforms are designed to access the vertical and horizontal tailplane, empennage, APU Door, and AFT PAX doors enabling technicians to easily access high or confined spaces, which enhances both safety and operational efficiency. Modular Design for Multi-Aircraft Compatibility
The Tail Dock from Vector Technorium is designed for various aircraft type in a combi-design mode for similar aircraft families. The entire Tail Dock system is split into LH & RH halves. The Tail Dock can be further split into dedicated modules for lower (horizontal) and upper (vertical) tailplane. The upper (vertical) Tail Dock can be designed as mobile carriage (on tyres or wheels). Alternatively, the upper (vertical) Tail Dock can be designed to be suspended from a crane bridge system.
