Job Description:

ROLE

At Vector Technorium we are seeking a motivated and experienced Senior Sales Executive/Engineer to join our growing team. This role is pivotal in driving sales strategies and building relationships in our targeted regions. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in aviation, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in sales, particularly within the MRO or aviation infrastructure sectors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials, and exercise discretion when interfacing with the business
  • Sales Strategy Development:
    • Collaborate with management to create and implement sales strategies to penetrate new markets in the target territory.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    • Identify, develop, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, MRO facilities, and aviation companies.
    • Conduct regular client visits to understand their needs and promote our products & services.
    • Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions
    • To build & maintain relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
  • Technical Sales Support:
    • Provide technical expertise to clients, presenting tailored solutions based on their specific requirements.
    • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure accurate proposal development and project specifications.
  • Market Research and Analysis:
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and understand competitive dynamics.
    • Analyze industry trends and customer feedback to refine sales approaches.
    • Identify business opportunities by evaluating prospects and their position in the industry, researching and analyzing sales options.
    • Browse Government Portals, tender portals, newspapers, digital platforms, industry periodicals for tenders which best fit our product and capability portfolio.
    • Collect and document competitive intelligence
  • Proposal Development:
    • Lead the preparation of high-quality proposals and presentations for clients, showcasing our capabilities and competitive advantages.
  • Sales Performance Tracking:
    • Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for management.
    • Adjust strategies based on performance analysis and market feedback.
  • Networking and Brand Promotion:
    • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand visibility and establish connections.

QUALIFICATION

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of aviation systems, MRO operations, and related regulatory requirements.

LANGUAGES

  • Excellent written and verbal skills in English is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of additional foreign languages is a plus.

EXPERIENCE

  • Preferably from Aviation, Aviation Infrastructure, Hotel background
    Freshers are welcome to apply.
  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience in the aviation industry, with a focus on MRO or aviation infrastructure.

JOB LOCATION

  • From New Delhi office
  • 6 days per week
  • 9 am to 6 pm.
  • Work out of overseas office from time to time.

ADDITIONAL

  • Must possess a valid passport or should be able to obtain one in 3 months after joining.
  • Must be willing to travel extensively
